T21-INDUSTRIES X BMW B48 – First Class OE Quality

The BMW B48 is a modern inline four-cylinder engine that BMW introduced in 2013 with exhaust turbocharger and four-valve technology. It represents a completely new development and has been manufactured from 2014 to the present day. Thanks to its well-thought-out construction and efficiency, it is the ideal basis for our high-quality ECU remapping, with which we exploit the full potential of this engine.

You will receive an email to schedule an appointment. Duration of calibration/individual adjustment: 2-5 business days.

Stock Power:

• B48B20A (20i Models): 184 HP / 270 Nm
• B48B20B (30i Models): 252 HP / 350 Nm

T21xS1 (Stage 1):

Stage 1 includes only a software modification to the engine and transmission control unit. The calibration is based on 102 octane and requires no hardware changes. The vehicle may be operated with 98-102 octane fuel. (In exceptional cases, 95 octane is also acceptable.)

• B48B20A (20i): 252 HP / 350 Nm
• B48B20B (30i): 280 HP / 400 Nm

T21xS2 (Stage 2):

Stage 2 includes a software modification to the engine and transmission control unit. The calibration is based on 102 octane and requires no hardware changes. With Stage 2, the full sustainable power of the stock turbochargers is achieved. For more power than T21xS2, an upgrade turbocharger and downpipe are required. These can be requested via email. The vehicle may be operated with 98-102 octane fuel. (In exceptional cases, 95 octane is also acceptable.)

• B48B20A (20i): 290 HP / 400 Nm
• B48B20B (30i): 306 HP / 450 Nm

T21xS3 (Stage 3):

Stage 3 includes a software modification to the engine and transmission control unit. The calibration is based on 102 octane. A modified turbocharger provides sufficient air mass.

• B48B20B (30i): 360 HP / 600 Nm*

NOTE:

Vehicles from 06/2020 onwards require an ECU UNLOCK.
